Baby It's COLD Outside!

Well, the temp.'s on Saturday reached a high of about 14 degrees. The chickens were cooped up in the indoor coop and they weren't happy. I opened up the door to the outdoor coop, hoping to encourage them to go outside while I cleaned the indoor coop.

They came running outside...

Then they went running back inside...

And they met me at the big door to let me know their displeasure with the situation at hand.

Needless to say I had 11 "supervisors" while cleaning out the coop. There was no convincing them that I could do it alone.

This made me chuckle! Your chickens are really pretty - and they look like they are good Supervisors ;-)

That running out and running back in pictures CRACKED me up! So funny!! My girls (and boy) are very unimpressed with snow, too. Last year, when it stuck around for weeks on the ground, they *finally* got the nerve to test it out, but it took them a LONG time.

And I'm sure all those little chicken feet running around you helped speed up your work in the coop tremendously! lol
