Cookie and Rice Cereal Treat Turkeys

No, they don't look much like turkeys, but don't you remember making these as kids?

I do and I loved doing it.  I couldn't wait and I wanted everyone to be as excited as I was although they rarely were.

A few simple things thrown together and voila!  You've got mini turkeys.  Homely little turkeys, but turkeys nonetheless.

The items I used are shown below, although you can use whatever candy's or doo dads you have around the house.  Everything gets "glued" together with a little powdered sugar glue.

Perfect for the Thanksgiving table.

Nope, I didn't make these as a kid :( But they are way cute! And look delish too. Thanks for sharing! I also caught up w/ your darling boys (previous post). I'm sure they are enjoying their freedom and extra 'mom' time this week. They are just too cute! Enjoy! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. -Tammy p.s. when i take out warm oatmeal to my chickens on a cold morning, I think of you (because I'm pretty sure that's where I got the idea!). They thank you immensely :)

Thanks so much Tammy. Happy Thanksgiving to you as well. And don't forget that heated up leftover rice with a little milk or yogurt is always appreciated by cold chickens too!
