Santa Success!

Despite my concern that our Santa Claus trip wouldn't work, it was successful!!

We waited until it was almost time for Santa to leave so there would be less dogs around.  This worked out well.

When we pulled up, both Oliver and Emerson were shaking so hard it was almost like convulsions.

Oh boy, I thought.

In we went, both of them shaking up a storm.

People oohed and awed over them, which usually helps.

It didn't.

I saw that there was no line, whew!  So up to Santa we went.

Emerson was first.  He took one look at that man and started to get upset.

I calmed him down.

Next was poor Ollie.

He just sat there as still as could be.

A couple of squeaky toys to get their attention and voila - a cute photo.

Santa is not "Santa-ish" looking, but he was very kind and very good with my 2 scared little boys.

Merry Christmas!!

So cute. Your babies did great with Santa. Wonder what they told him they wanted this year? A dingo? Milk bones? Perhaps a Pupperoni? :)

Thanks, yes I think it turned out cute. Amy I believe they probably asked for sand for their backyard (they loved the beach when we visited), more peanut butter cookies, more chicken flavored chew bones, and the opportunity to eat people food.
