I'll Trade You One Loaf Of Homemade Bread For......

I signed up for my very first homemade food swap to be held on June 20th.  I don't know exactly what to expect, but I'm kind of excited about it.  Have any of you ever participated in a food swap?  There's information about food swaps at Food Swap Network and the community I'm participating in is called the From Scratch Club.

It's my understanding that we show up, set up our goodies along with samples, and scout and sample what others have brought.  Once you find something you like I believe you write your name down.  Once everyone has had a chance to sample and see the trade items I assume you go visit those who have written their names on your food items to see if you can swap.

My downfall, however, is determining what to bring.  I'm horrible at making up my mind.  My husband and mother both tell me I absolutely MUST bring a loaf or two of Oatmeal Sandwich Bread.  I may bring fresh eggs from the girls if I have extras.  Other than that, I'm not sure.  Do I make Peach Hand Pies?  Do I make a collection of syrups to flavor coffee, iced tea and seltzer water?  Do I make candies such as Strawberry, Blackberry and Lemon Truffles?  Cakes?  Decisions!

If you live in the Saratoga Springs, NY area, there's still a few spaces left.......
