Yes, they do still grow. :) I know that because Mr. and Mrs. Woodchuck visited me 2 years ago as well and shaved off the entire tops. I couldn't even find my carrots!
I'm sorry your having trouble with groundhogs, we have one that lives under our shed, she NEVER eats out of the garden, just grass and clover in the yard, I've named her mama hog, she's so cute!! Her hubby got killed both lived here, it's just her now. Kinda sad!
Thanks all! Sue - that is very sad....I would be happy to name my woodchucks if they would just learn what is theirs and what is mine {according to me}. :) Meg - so true. When do you get a lovely letter from an animal you've been cursing out? :-)

Will the carrots still grow if their tops have been eaten...maybe they will move on to someone else's garden soon...hopefully!

Your woodchucks are as bad as the deer in our garden. The cute letter made me smile! You need a sense of humor dealing with these ornery critters!!
Too funny, Staci! Our son is coming home today, so I'm off to make your lime pie! Enjoy your weekend!
Thanks Cheryl and Mary. Mary, I hope you love the lime pie!!
