There just aren't enough hours in a day.  No matter how prepared I am it's nearly impossible to get everything I want to get done in a weekend.  I'm not sure where the time goes, but it does.  Despite my troubles with the passing time, it was a beautiful weekend.  The highs were in the low 40's but the sun was shining and it was splendid.

The animals, as you can see, with the exception of the chickens, are enjoying the warmth of their home.  It's quite frosty in the mornings so beds, blankets and the pellet stove are all big hits.  For the chickens, the morning goodies are the talk of the day.  In the photo above they are enjoying apples and alfalfa.

I made Oliver and Emerson Apple-Cinnamon Mini "Muttins".  Sorry - that cheesy name is what I decided on.  They love them.  LOVE them!  I'll share the recipe this week - they would be a great treat to make for your special little four-legged love during the holidays.

Speaking of holidays, we got all the Christmas ornaments out and ready to go.  The day after Thanksgiving we'll be getting all decked out in Christmas decor.  It's just so hard to believe Thanksgiving is this week.  {sigh}....the weeks just fly by, don't they?

Hoping you all had a wonderful weekend!

The time certainly does have a way with escaping. How is that? Never seems like there is enough time in a day and the months seem to just fly by. Time needs to slow down!

Everyone looks quite happy and warm, even the chickens look to be enjoying their morning treat.

Hope you have a great week.

Your garden photos always stun me.
Looks like all the critters are nestled in and ready for winter. What a cozy home they have.

Enjoy your week!
