Little Lizzie Update

Little Lizzie
Thank you for your ongoing support and concern of our little girl named Little Lizzie.  I am happy to report that she is doing well and happy as can be.

My sister-in-law, Kim, and her co-workers {thank you Karin, Sue and others} had suggested Lizzie get her own apartment.  Lizzie bawked at the idea because she loves her friends and is a social butterfly.

Instead, we took reader Cindy's advice and purchased a product called "Pick No More" with active ingredients such as tar that will {hopefully} deter the others from picking because they don't like the taste.  We're applying this regularly and hoping it will do the trick.

Lizzie continues to lay tiny blue eggs, hunt for worms, and muscle her way into the middle of the big girls in the morning to get her fair share of the morning treats.

I am glad that it works and will continue to work. Chickens can be big bullies.
