Tuesday's "Three"

3 Things I'm Hearing This Week:
  1. Drip.....drip....drip......it's still raining.  I am trying desperately to be grateful but my goodness, when will it end?
  2. The angry chicken chant - they are quite upset about the rain.  I mean, after all, their toes get wet!
  3. The printer printing.......I'm in the middle of a canvas photo making project.  It should be up on the blog next week!

3 Things I'm Making This Week:
  1. Fresh berry chocolate bars.  Have you done this?  It's simple.  Wash and dry any fresh berries.  Lay them {and any nuts you'd like to add} on waxed paper {on top of a baking sheet}.  Melt your favorite plain chocolate in the microwave at 45 second intervals until it's melted.  Carefully pour the melted chocolate over the berries and nuts.  Let sit until hardened.  Crack into bite-size pieces and enjoy!  This is one of my husband's all-time favorites and it's so easy.
  2. More bagels.  Did I tell you I'm a bagel-maker?  Yes indeed and they are delicious!  I've successfully made blueberry so I'm making everything bagels next.  Recipe/instructions to come.....
  3. Sweet Cherry Pocket Pies.

3 Things I've Found On The Internet:
  1. Brilliant!  Why have I never thought of making this before??
  2. Now that I sew, I think I'll have to make this.  A quick story about sewing.  Last Friday we went to the Country Living Fair and we came across some beautiful pillows.  My husband commented they were "nice" but he'd never pay the price they were asking.  My response was "well it's a good thing you've got a woman who sews".  He looked at me and told me not to get too cocky about my skills since I've only sewn cloth baggies so far.  We both laughed - he's something else!
  3. Not that I need anything more in my very full kitchen, but I'm loving this site.
Happy Tuesday!!

Oh my goodness, so many good things going on! The candy sounds divine. Those eyeglass cases are adorable and I will be checking out the kitchen wares in that place. You've got a lovely, busy life.
