Tuesday's "Three"

3 Things I'm Smelling This Week:
  1. Chai Tea.  I'll be sharing a homemade Chai concentrate next week.  Delicious!
  2. Pecan Pie.  My husband requested it, so it's going in the oven tonight.
  3. Soap - I'm making Vanilla Latte, Spring {orange/vanilla}, Fall {pumpkin pie}, Honey Bee, Winter {peppermint}, Lavender, Coffee & Cocoa and Adirondack Forest soap this week.

3 Things The Coop Girls Are Enjoying This Week:
  1. Baked squash and seeds - warm and delicious.
  2. Warm oatmeal with yogurt and berries.  They LOVE yogurt.
  3. Alfalfa Hay {keeps them busy and they love it}

3 Things From Around The Web:
  1. I was recently invited to join a group of very talented women called the "Garden Charmers".  We share each others posts and have a Facebook page devoted to our group {here}.  One of the women, Melissa, wrote a fantastic post about gardening in winter.
  2. We usually put our Christmas Tree{s} up right after Thanksgiving.  The smaller tree we like to decorate in very rustic ornaments.  I love this idea of dipping orange slices with spices attached in beeswax.  I think I might do that for the smaller tree!
  3. I wish I had seen this last year when I needed a tree skirt.  Here's a tutorial on making an adorable tree skirt from a 70" round tablecloth.
Happy Tuesday!

Your soaps sound good enough to eat almost with names like those. I used to have a house with a silver birch growing through the deck (the deck was built around the tree, so as not to take it down). We used to decorate it at Christmas—including hanging bird treats and squirrel treats on it so the wildlife could come and eat them. Amazing the little squirrel never gnawed the wires on the white lights.

You must have the best fed chickens on the planet! Love the beeswax/orange slice idea. We're big fans of pecan pie. Used to make my Carolina grandmother's traditional recipe, but in recent years, everyone's fave is chocolate bourbon pecan. I'll pull that out for you. Works well with water in place of the bourbon, as well. So many tempting recipes this time of year.

Oh! You shared so many goodies today. I love the beeswax ornaments, and gardening in winter (I'll be posting that blog to my FB page.) And your house sounds like it smells scrumptious!

If I squawked, could I be a chicken? Yours get gourmet and delivery. I want some too.
