10 Ways To Use Up Your Homemade Jam Stash

It's just about berry season again here and we have a few coveted jewel-colored jars of homemade jam left from last berry season.  If you find yourself in the same boat, here are some delicious ways that we enjoy using up the last of our stash:

1.  Stir it into your morning oatmeal.

2.  Stir it into plain yogurt.  {make homemade yogurt for even more deliciousness}

3.  Make these easy Jam & Cream Cheese Danish.

4.  Use it in Thumbprint Cookies.

5.  Spread between layers of a layer cake and then frost as recipe instructs.

6.  Use as an ice cream topping.  Heat over low heat in a small saucepan {or in the microwave} and pour over ice cream or frozen yogurt.  This is particularly yummy when using the Strawberry-Balsamic Jam!

7.  Make this homemade Strawberry-Chipotle BBQ Sauce.

8.  Make Jam Bars {such as these}.

9.  Throw together an easy Trifle using either poundcake or angel food cake, jam and whipped cream or pudding.

10.  Smear on a piece of grilled poundcake and top with a bit of homemade whipped cream.

How do you enjoy your homemade jam?

  3. I use them in dressings Staci. It's the sweet instead of honey or sugar. So think raspberry balsamic dressing or orange fennel curry dressing. Raspberry is jam, orange is marmalade.

    Your ideas are noted. Thank you.
