Real Food Meal Plan - Week 4

If you’re just tuning in, this is an ongoing series in which I share our weekly meal plan as I (attempt) to convert us to a Whole/Real Foods lifestyle. I actually meal plan monthly but share it here weekly because it makes more sense to do so.  Meal planning is my way of controlling the grocery budget (read as a LOT of dollars saved), ensuring there is no food waste for the week, as well as saving time.  You can read more about meal planning here.

I notice you repeat several meals. Good for you! So do we on our homestead. We raise all our meat so you'll see ham or sausage and eggs most every am and lots of beef/ chicken in other meals. Trying to eat only seasonal veggies but we're still not raising salad stuff over the winter yet. One day.

Hi Donna - yes we do!! I like to make my life as simple as possible so I only keep the recipes we love in the rotation which means we'll eat them regularly! :) I hope you are able to get to growing your veggies for salad someday too! It's tough to find time for it all but it's so incredibly rewarding, isn't it?
