That way my hairdresser can cut it without having to wash it. She just spritzes. I saves me $7 plus taxes.Sue Frelickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13150735651127251014noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8990217242364259191.post-17461027553328267452013-10-21T21:51:13.032-04:002013-10-21T21:51:13.032-04:00Thank you for all your great ideas!!Thank you for all your great ideas!!Staci@LifeAtCobbleHillFarmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12970355437338210130noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8990217242364259191.post-61438591369572955572013-10-20T09:56:59.416-04:002013-10-20T09:56:59.416-04:00Great ideas, Staci. If I shop last minute for an outfit to wear to a specific event, I almost always end up with something I'm not crazy about and hardly ever wear. Also, way back in 1980 when we were married, we lived entirely on Mike's salary, and mine went straight to savings. We were able to save the downpayment on our first house, and when our son was born, and I decided to stay home, we knew how to get by with one income. May be harder to do these days, but we learned to save for things we really wanted.
Maryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16798403531760348267noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8990217242364259191.post-15608777706884752902013-10-20T07:07:50.381-04:002013-10-20T07:07:50.381-04:00You've given some great ideas and reminders--W...You've given some great ideas and reminders--When Carl was furloughed, because of the Govt. shutdown, even though he was called back to work, he didn't get a paycheck, and I started using the fliers again from the grocery stores, well worth the time, and got me reacquainted with our grocery stores--I think I'm going to continue to do it. I didn't know that about Aldi's--I wish there was one close to us.

Thanks again for the tips! ~Kim at Golden Pines~https://www.blogger.com/profile/02001523468339091407noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8990217242364259191.post-32222507021463873002013-10-19T10:05:15.957-04:002013-10-19T10:05:15.957-04:00These are great ideas. It would be better to have a few nice, wearable items rather than a bunch of stuff that I don't want to wear.Leslie Kimelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10819439877752751687noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8990217242364259191.post-74328729370825827482013-10-18T00:02:22.757-04:002013-10-18T00:02:22.757-04:00I really need to get back into #7. I write out our expenses each month and we have set limits for our ideal spending on groceries and usually manage to stick pretty close to the budgeted amount. It seems like with our animals we usually have unexpected things pop up, so we try to cut back in other areas when possible. And we each have a little bit of our own "fun money" for the month for entertainment and whatever we want. This way we don't feel too trapped by not being able to eat a meal out or buy a little something we like. Our Neck of the Woodshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00796487269192271170noreply@blogger.com
