A New Pair Of Naughty Pants

My guess is that you knew exactly what Cobble Hill character this post was going to be about from the title alone.  Right?  My man Jack is sportin' a new pair of naughty pants.  He tells me he received them for Christmas but his lips are sealed as to who gave him such a useful gift.

As you know, Jackson is famous for stealing money and causing all types of trouble. Well, those on "team Jack" will be happy to hear he hasn't given up his life of crime or doin' time.  Nope.  With the New Year comes new bad habits.

Two of his loves are bags and dog food.  What better combination then when I bring a new bag of dog food in the house?  I mean, how can a guy possibly resist such a temptation?  He swears it wasn't him, and that these photos are just him assessing the situation, but I have my doubts.

First, look at the guilty face:

I mean that alone is convincing, isn't it?

Then, look at the teeth marks in the brand new bag of dog food:

Do you remember the investigation Oliver and Emerson conducted back in June?  The teeth marks are identical to that crime and, sorry Jack, you were found guilty then and you're found guilty now.

But wait, he has more tricks up his sleeve!  Sunday I found him running across the carpet with this in his mouth:

Jay suggested he was simply trying to follow the instructions on the rubber stamp.  I'm not so convinced...... You see, Jack has a history of clearing off my rubber stamp shelves.

This next bit is crazy, I know, but it's true.  Jackson takes great pride in knocking rubber stamps off of my shelves as well as stealing the smaller stamps {I'm still missing an "r" and a "q" from one of the alphabet sets}.

Sometimes he's nice enough to only knock down one stamp.  Do you want to know what stamp is knocked down almost every single time he commits this crime, even if it's the only one?

I kid you not, it's this one:

Jay and I laugh about it frequently.  I'm not sure how he knows it's the most appropriate stamp in the room but he does.  Thankfully it's too big for him to steal or I'm sure he'd add it to his collection - wherever that is.

Jay suggested I leave a stamp on the table for him:

What do you think?

Omg, that is so hilarious! That Jack is quite a character and makes my "Jack" (in heaven) seem like a saint in comparison. But you gotta love the antics of all your pets. They would cheer my very soul!

I LOVE your rubber stamping corner. Do you emboss, use tombow pens to colour. I haven't done any for a while, but I'm adding a few to the history and my sister and I are going to do up some samples.

Thanks Maggie, Cathy and Daisy. Yes, he is too much! Erin, well I have the products to emboss but I haven't done much with crafts in a few years. I'm making it one of my goals this year to get back in that room of mine! :)

Haha, so good to hear he's up to his old tricks. I just love his faces! I think Jay is right, he's just following the directions of the stamp. Your craft room is GORGEOUS! I envy it immensely!

Meg - yes, aren't his expressions priceless?? Thanks for the craft room comment - my hubby built it just for me. :)

That made me laugh out loud. That cat is one of a kind. I came home yesterday to find my bag of Calm Tea on the floor with mulitple teeth marks in the bag as well as loose tea all over the kitchen floor. Fernando loves all things herbal. I had moved the teas up on top of the fridge and he has never, ever tried to get up there. I guess yesterday he caught a whiff of something and the rest was history.
