6 Weeks of Homemade Holiday Gift Ideas, Week #4: Christmas Dishtowels with Button Christmas Trees

A great hostess gift, gift basket item, co-worker gift, or something to give someone who you just don't know what to give.  Simple too!

Purchase a dish towel for each one you'll be making.  If you have buttons, use what you've got.  If you don't, you'll need to purchase an assortment.  Thread and a needle complete the items you'll need.

Lay out your buttons on a flat surface until you get the look you want.  Then, start sewing.  One button at a time, laying it before putting your needle through it.

Ta da!  You've got a gift completed!!

Other Homemade Holiday Gift Ideas include:
Week 1:  Homemade Bath and Body Products {Soap, Lip Balm, Lotion Bar, and Salt Scrub}
Week 2:  Salt Dough Ornaments and Tags
Week 3:  Customized Coffee Mugs

that is a great idea! I saw a delivery idea of a hostess gift of a bottle of wine with a towel wrapped around it...this is a great approach to that towel!

Thanks so much Brenda! I believe the towels are from Target - from their Holiday collection last year.
