Reindeer Emerson

Reindeer Oliver

The happiest reindeer of all - Jack

Christmas helper Cait

As you can see from the photos above, the "kids" are less than thrilled with me right now.  They wish I'd pick on someone else with my ridiculous photo ideas.  I can always bribe Em with treats but the others aren't so easy.  Oliver hates looking at the camera when he knows he looks ridiculous...er....cute, and Jack stiffens right up which allows me the time to move his head where I need it and take the photo before he has slowly lowered his head again.  Cait, on the other hand, glares.  She hates the camera as much as she hates hats.

It's been a strange weekend full of overcast skies, drizzly rain and some freezing temp's.  We ran some errands yesterday but, otherwise, stayed home all weekend.  It was lovely.  I didn't make soap, lotion, or any bath/body products.  I do, however, feel a bit of withdrawal since I've been doing it daily for months now.  Tomorrow I'll be picking up the pace again.

The Holidays here will be quiet - just as we like it, and we'll be able to spend almost the entire week together!  The Coop Girls will get special goodies both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.  They LOVE blueberries in their oatmeal so I'll make them warm oatmeal with blueberries on Tuesday and special chicken cookies on Wednesday.  They'll have a surprise of freeze-dried mealworms Christmas afternoon, that is, if Santa brings them.  They have all put them on their Christmas list so I'm sure the old boy will come through.

The blog will be a bit quiet this week as we relax and enjoy our time together.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

The funniest one is Oliver. Don't let him near the Grinch, of he'll be pulling that sleigh for sure! As usual, Jack just adores wearing silly hats.

I love these photos so much! Jack always makes me laugh a little bit haha. What a cute idea. I want to get some antlers for Duchess but I don't think she'd let me near her.

I hope you enjoy your week with the hubby and have a very Merry Christmas!
