It was a beautiful week with much of our snow melting.  I am very close to being able to use my clothesline again.  Hooray!  A couple of more days and I'll be able to get through the snow to it.  This weekend wasn't bad either - a bit overcast and windy on Saturday but a sunny, beautiful day today.

I finally sat down and made a couple cuff bracelets.  The first photo shows one of them.  I love them.  No surprise that I'm incorporating words on them.

Speaking of making things, if you noticed in the photo of the Oreo Cheesecake, ever since using our farm fresh eggs, I can't make white cheesecake.  The Coop Girls yolks are so incredibly yellow that everything has a yellow color to it.  I laughed when I was making them.  The good thing is that means they are getting a lot of good, natural food!  And I did successfully make the ciabatta roll recipe into burger buns.  The key is pulling them so they are the right size but not as thick as a regular roll.  Delicious.  Oh, and I'll be sharing the awesome Calzone recipe tomorrow.  I made those for lunch this weekend.

I put the prints in the Etsy shop that I featured last week.  I'm working on a couple of farm-based prints and still working on getting cards to add.

Oliver and Emerson are going through some tough times.  Oliver is beginning to get aggressive toward Emerson.  Emerson has always been dominant and you could tell it would upset Oliver and often hurt his feelings.  Well, I guess enough is enough.  Now, without warning, Oliver will start growling and snapping at Emerson and shockingly, Emerson becomes submissive to him.  Oliver previously did this about once every 4 or 5 months and Emerson appeared oblivious to it all.  Now it's every couple of days, thankfully only lasts for a few minutes {except once}, and Emerson definitely gets it.  We're working on it......

On the menu this week:  Grilled Venison Burgers and Corn Salad with Lime-Cilantro Dressing/ Chicken Teriyaki with Rice and the last package of Sugar Snap Peas from last summer's garden/  Grilled Pork Tenderloin with Creamy Orzo and salad/ Baked Ziti with salad/ Chicken Fajitas {frozen peppers and onions from last summer's garden and homemade tortilla shells}with Mexican Rice {rice cooked with chicken broth and a jar of our canned salsa}/ Grilled Brats and Potato Salad/ and Homemade Pizza and salad.  What's on your menu this week?

Hoping you're having a wonderful weekend!!

Staci--ask your vet about the canine version of the feline Feliway. Feliway is a pheromone thing that comes in a spray as well as a plug in atomizer gizmo. Our cats were suddenly getting into fights and our vet suggested this. I got the plug in and they stopped. Then somewhile later they started again---sure enough-the thing was empty. Got refill---everyone settled back down! CHeck Fosters and Smith-I am sure they would carry it as well...Blessings, Sharon

Thanks so much Sharon. We actually just put him back on it for his stress so, fingers crossed, it will resolve this issue as well. :-)

Hi Staci! Your photos are lovely! The bracelet is so cute! Do you have a recipe for the individual cheesecakes? Just wondering how you made them that size. How wonderful you have so much food canned/frozen from your garden! I hope to do much canning/freezing this year. Thanks for sharing! Blessings from Bama!

Staci, love your bracelet! And the coop girls look like they are enjoying the sunshine. :) Surprized to her about Emerson and Oliver. They look so bonded in your pictures. I would check with vet if it keeps up. And " grouchy" Jack.... Very cute!
Hugs, Natalie

I'll bet your coop girls are happy that they don't have to trudge around in the snow.
You always have so many projects going and your menu always astounds. I'm not that creative in the kitchen!

Enjoy the warmer temps and plenty of sunshine!
