We accomplished more purging. Hooray!! We're finishing it up today. Whoever came up with the saying "collect memories not things" was very wise, in my opinion. Too many things make me crazy lately.
We received a good amount of rain Saturday which was great for my asparagus and strawberry beds. I'm patiently waiting for the first sign of asparagus. I know it will likely be a couple of more weeks, but a girl can hope. My elderberry bushes are starting to get their first bits of green as are the rhubarb and horseradish. Next week we aren't supposed to have any frost so another week of above-freezing temps and I'll have seeds in the garden.
We are busy busy busy around here today.
On the menu this week: Burgers on the Grill with Potato Salad, BBQ Country Pork Ribs with Mac and Cheese and Green Beans, Grilled BBQ Chicken Quarters with Risotto and Salad, Stuffed Peppers {using up the last of the frozen pepper halves}, One Pot Southwest Chicken and Rice, and Sausage with Ravioli and Salad. I'm also going to try a new recipe for Individual Lemon Cakes.
Hoping you are having a wonderful weekend!

Hi Staci. I enjoy seeing a glimpse of your farm life. I'm a farm girl wannabe who is happily married to a city boy so blogs like your make me smile! Thank you for sharing with us!
Hi
Love your pictures. I'm also waiting for the asparagus. Fresh eggs and asparagus tipped soldiers yummy. Have a good week.
Beautiful photos, as always. Seeing those eggs makes me long for backyard chickens again. Collecting the eggs each day never got old - it was like a daily Easter egg hunt.
Yay for purging! It really does help one's peace of mind to rid the home of unnecessary things.
Your boys look so content.
Menu sounds yummy! Potato salad, huh? It must really feel like spring up there!
Jeannette - thank you for such a kind comment! I'm happy you've stopped in for a visit. :)
Sarah and Elizabeth - thank you!! And you are so right, gathering eggs never gets old.
Daisy - yes, it feels like Spring and I'm loving it!! :)
It's so wonderful to finally see signs of spring and growth :)
