Tuesday's Three

With everything going on in the world it seems that gratitude for the simplest of things is more necessary than ever.

3 Little Things I'm Grateful For Today:

1. Sunshine! - Actually, the sunshine itself + more hours of daylight in each day is the best!  What a difference it makes here in the northeast when February is over and March finally begins.  Yes, we still have cold temps and the possibility of snow, BUT it starts getting warmer during the day and we have more opportunity for sunshine!

2.  Starting seeds - there's so much hope and possibility in a little pack of veggie seeds.

3.  No Commute - with the huge increase in gas prices (currently at $4.39/gallon for the cheapest) we are as happy as ever that we can work from home.

I hope this finds you doing well.  What little things top your gratitude list today?

  1. Well said Staci...I couldn't agree more.

1-snow...yes, I know, how crazy in March to be thankful for snow? But somehow, it was a sweet surprise to wake up to. Clean, crisp, quiet.

2- kindred spirits...what a blessing to find blogging friends from across the miles who enjoy and appreciate the same things I do. Oh so grateful, as I really don't find those kindred spirits close to home.

3-quiet time...time to think, dream, plan, reflect.

  2. Different images to your snow pictures... yes gas/petrol I have a 63 litre tank and at $2.22 it cost $140 to fill my tank...crazy. I remember filling my 4WD two tanks for $140. The govt has announced they are going to reduce the petrol tax from .44 cents to .22 cents for the next 6 months but that will only take affect when the current petrol at the service stations use what they have now so maybe a week or two. There are more rain events here but thankfully not as bad as last month in Brisbane however Northern Rivers NSW are completely going under again for the 2nd time in a month. So many people are impacted. Have a great week.

  3. Couldn't agree with you more, Staci. And Mary, we are also surrounded by folks who believe/think differently than we do. Ah well, it makes us stronger, I suppose. ;0D

~Being able to be of service to others.
~Having a cozy and welcoming home.
    ~Clean and abundant water.
