My husband and I have been following your blog ever since we bought our Homestead last March of 2018. We, too, our older homesteaders (hubby just turned 60, and I am 49). We have a small egg business, at the moment. We have over 100 chickens and 12 ducks. We are also adding dog cookies and cakes to our Whispering Hills Homestead business. So excited to be a homesteader!

I was excited when I found your blog. I made this recipe yesterday. I had 2 organic chickens, and decided to use the crock pot for one, and put the other one in the oven. I browned the one that went in the oven, first. I absolutely LOVE the combination of spices. I use basil, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder on just about everything. Both chickens were yummy, but the crock pot chicken was, by far, the best. So tender, and can be used in so many recipes. I make a chicken crusted pizza. It's so yummy. This chicken will be wonderful in this recipe. Thanks so much for sharing your recipes, and other wonderful posts!Julia Johnsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18275646236072151028noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8990217242364259191.post-90957082738899440472017-01-24T05:51:30.936-05:002017-01-24T05:51:30.936-05:00I'm gonna make this on the weekend. I guess you could brown the chicken first in a pan if you have the time.
Thank you for sharing!daisy ghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06129079277073067462noreply@blogger.com
