Is there any more perfect spring flavor combination than sweet strawberries and tart rhubarb?
This makes a pleasingly sweet and tart pie that is fantastic alone and even better accompanied by a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Strawberry-rhubarb is my daughter's boyfriend's favorite. I confess, I've never made it from scratch, though. I buy it at our local Amish market.
